Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor for our education catering sites in Winchester. The role is part-time, 25 hours per week, contracted to 43.8 weeks per year, with duties ensuring smooth operations and exceptional food service.

You will lead kitchen and service teams, monitor KPIs, uphold Health & Safety standards, and represent the brand. A minimum of two years catering experience and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate are required.

• Experience managing teams in a catering environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure service excellence.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams.
• Support and train teams; lead from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
