Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week over 43.8 weeks per year. You will lead kitchens and service counters to deliver exceptional food experiences in schools and educational settings.

You will manage teams, train staff, monitor KPIs, and uphold Health & Safety standards while representing Chartwells with professionalism and a strong customer-first

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
