Chartwells Schools is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) contracted to 43.8 weeks per year. You will ensure kitchens and counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences, while leading teams and maintaining high standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, brand representation, and health and safety compliance, with opportunities to progress within Compass Group UK&I across education

Qualifications

• Two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a catering setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams.
