Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Chartwells catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours/week), contracted to 43.2 weeks per year. You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences while upholding brand standards.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience, team management skills, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicate with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
