Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor who can oversee our catering and service operations for education settings on a full-time basis, 37.5 hours weekly. You will ensure kitchens and counters run smoothly and lead teams to deliver exceptional food experiences.

You will monitor KPIs, uphold health and safety standards, and protect our brand image while training staff and coordinating with managers and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance.
