Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis at 25 hours per week, contracted for 43.8 weeks per year.

You will ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver exceptional food experiences, while leading teams and focusing on health & safety, quality, and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Two years of catering experience or more.
• Experience managing teams in a catering/food service environment.
• Strong communication with line managers and team members.
• Know-how of health & safety standards in food service.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service and food.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across teams.
