Job summary

Cognita is hiring a School IT Technician to provide 2nd and 3rd line support across our schools in a hybrid environment. You will ensure reliable IT services, secure configurations, and proactive improvements for staff and students.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows 11, Intune, and Apple devices (iPads, MacBooks) and a proactive, customer-focused approach. ITIL or Jamf/CompTIA basics are helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in 1st/2nd line IT support in a school or similar setting.
• Familiarity with Windows 11, Intune and Apple device management (iPads, MacBooks).
• ITIL or similar certifications are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 2nd and 3rd line IT support to staff and students.
• Maintain core IT infrastructure, hardware maintenance, and network services.
• Handle on-site and remote incidents, meeting service levels and documenting actions.
• Contribute to IT projects and maintain accurate asset inventories.
