Job summary

Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is seeking a Building Supervisor (with supervision) to provide on-site supervision, cleaning and non-cleaning services under the direction of the designated line manager. You will ensure security, cleaning, and orderly operation of premises in line with Education Authority policies.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong teamwork and good organisational skills, with duties including opening/closing, key control, and managing cleaning staff to meet

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of six months’ demonstrable experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating teams.
• Ability to respond to call outs and weather-related events.
• Knowledge of security systems and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Security of premises and contents; open/close building and respond to incidents.
• Operate and monitor security cameras, alarms and related systems.
• Plan and supervise cleaning and portering tasks; ensure standards are met.
• Prepare premises for after-school activities and manage equipment.
• Maintain safety, health and safety compliance and administrative records.
