Caretaker - Immediate Start (Temp to Perm)

Location: Mansfield Area

Pay: £15-£17 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Shifts

• 7:00am - 3:00pm
• 11:00am - 7:00pm

We are recruiting a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a large school site on a temporary basis, with a strong chance of becoming permanent after 8 weeks.

You'll be supporting a busy estates team on a 42-acre site with 12 buildings, ensuring the school is safe, secure, and well maintained. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure the site daily, including opening and locking up buildings
• Routine maintenance, repairs, and general site upkeep
• Supporting the estates team across the school grounds
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
• Assisting with checks, inspections, and contractor visits
• Providing occasional support to a nearby partner school when needed
