Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Scheme Manager for the Homeownership team in Ipswich. You will oversee a site of retirement properties, liaising with contractors, and supporting residents' wellbeing and safety.

The role involves day-to-day management of communal areas, reporting repairs, and hosting resident meetings. 35 hours per week, with a salary of £24,654–£25,416 per year and benefits. Full driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy to GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
• Experience with older people in a support capacity and understanding their needs.
• Knowledge of the key needs and services available to residents.
• Experience solving problems and making referrals as needed.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to interpret and maintain computerised information and documentation.
• Full valid driving licence; occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day operations of communal areas and supervise contractors.
• Report and monitor repairs, and attend resident meetings.
• Host coffee meetings and participate in resident meetings.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and safety.
• Provide admin support for housing services and maintain records.
• Assist Housing Officer with budgeting and income recovery.
