Job summary

Home Group in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Scheme Manager to oversee our leasehold retirement community, ensuring residents can live independently in their own homes. You’ll manage the scheme, engage with residents, and maintain safety and comfort in communal spaces.

The role focuses on safety standards, contractor coordination, and signposting services to support residents' welfare, with a Monday–Friday pattern and DBS check paid by the employer.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and building relationships with customers from all backgrounds.
• Knowledge of the health and social issues affecting older people.
• Some experience in safeguarding and carrying out risk assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different partners.
• Strong administrative skills including managing accounts, budgets and invoicing for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scheme on behalf of residents, ensuring buildings are safe and meet safety standards.
• Provide visibility on the scheme, engage with customers, respond to calls and create a warm, safe environment.
• Ensure communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming and support social activities.
• Work with partner contractors for repairs and maintenance, and assist sourcing local suppliers.
• Signpost customers to relevant services to support welfare and wellbeing.
