Job summary

Hugo Reeves Recruitment in Stafford is seeking a Scheme Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a retirement scheme for residents over 55. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week across five days, and offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive hourly rate of £14.

You will manage tenancy matters, safety procedures, and liaise with residents, contractors and support agencies to maintain independence and wellbeing.

Scheme Manager

Part Time | 20 Hours Per Week | 5 Days | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract | £14per hour

We're looking for an organised and proactive Scheme Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a building complex in Stafford. The building is a over 55s retirement scheme.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference to people's lives.

The Role:

As Scheme Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of the scheme, supporting residents with their wellbeing, safety and housing needs while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.

You'll act as a key point of contact for residents, contractors, support services, and families, helping customers maintain independence and access the support they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing tenancy-related matters and scheme administration
• Reporting and coordinating maintenance and repairs
• Ensuring health & safety, fire safety and security procedures are followed
• Responding appropriately to emergencies and alarm calls
• Encouraging community engagement and social activities within the scheme
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Supervising cleaners/contractors where applicable
