AD WARRIOR in Eastbourne is seeking a Scheme Manager to join Highland Lodge, a retirement living scheme. You will support the Delivery Manager with day-to-day operations and help residents feel safe and empowered to live independently.
You will lead essential safety checks, including health and safety, fire safety and warden call systems, ensuring compliance and high-quality service. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

The organisation is looking for a proactive and caring Scheme Manager to join Highland Lodge, a welcoming retirement living scheme in Eastbourne.
As Scheme Manager, you will be the friendly face of the scheme, supporting the Delivery Manager with day-to-day operations and helping to ensure residents feel safe, supported and empowered to live independently.
You will take ownership of essential safety checks, including health and safety, fire safety and the warden call system, ensuring compliance standards are met and consistently high levels of service are delivered. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help you identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns, while taking appropriate action to prioritise residents’ wellbeing.
Experience in housing or customer-facing roles.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new systems.
Excellent record-keeping skills and strong attention to detail.
A self-starter with great organisational skills and a passion for helping others.
A clear communicator who works well with residents, colleagues, contractors and external agencies.
A practical problem-solver who delivers high-quality work and meets deadlines.
Someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, including resolving feedback and complaints.
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check (if applicable), satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
This role may require specific qualifications, skills, knowledge and behaviours to meet the Competence and Conduct Standard for Social Housing. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
