Job summary

LA International is seeking a Service Asset & Configuration Manager to lead SACM, CI management and CMDB governance in a hybrid setup. The role requires active security clearance and proven experience with CMDB systems and ITSM workflows.

You will own SACM processes, maintain CI relationships, support Change/Release/Incident via CMDB, and produce KPI reporting for governance forums. Collaboration with stakeholders across live-service environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SACM experience and governance
• CMDB and CMS administration
• Experience with CI relationships and baselines
• Knowledge of BMC Remedy in SACM/ITSM
• Experience supporting Change/Release/Incident via CMDB
• Experience conducting baseline comparisons and validation
• Strong data quality, assurance and compliance in configuration
• Chairing Configuration Management Boards and governance activities
• KPI reporting and management information experience
• Stakeholder collaboration to resolve configuration issues
• Experience with secure, complex live-service environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and improve SACM processes, procedures, tooling and governance.
• Manage the SACM CMS, acting as the primary contact for incidents, enquiries and configuration updates.
• Maintain accurate Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships within the CMDB.
• Use CMDB information to support Change, Release and Incident Management activities.
• Perform baseline configuration comparisons to validate changes across OpNET environments.
• Identify and implement appropriate tooling to support SACM processes.
• Provide assurance over configuration data quality and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Produce scheduled and ad hoc KPI reports, metrics and management information.
• Coordinate and chair monthly Configuration Management Board meetings.
• Develop Terms of Reference, meeting schedules and action tracking for governance forums.
• Align enterprise SACM processes with OpNET requirements using BMC Remedy.
• Maintain CI relationships across live services and associated ITSM processes.
