Job summary

BMT Group Ltd is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT services. You will be the first point of contact for users, respond to incidents and service requests, and work in an ITIL-aligned environment.

Based in Bath or Fareham with hybrid working arrangements, the role requires strong collaboration across teams to improve processes, documentation and knowledge sharing while supporting secure, compliant IT services.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of IT hardware, software and networking fundamentals.
• Experience supporting Microsoft-based environments.
• Familiarity with UK MOD security environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain IT services within an ITIL-aligned environment.
• Assist with routine system maintenance, updates and deployments.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal documentation.
