Job summary

GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our client’s Bristol office. You will provide day-to-day IT support for hardware and software, triage tickets, and liaise with a managed service provider to resolve issues.

This role offers clear progression into systems administration and infrastructure with hybrid and flexible working options. A proactive communicator with 1–3 years’ IT support experience will fit well.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or junior systems administration role.
• Working knowledge of Windows environments and common business software.
• Some exposure to system administration (Active Directory, M365 admin, device management).
• Comfortable liaising with third-party suppliers or service providers.
• Exposure to cyber security concepts or tasks is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware and software issues, triaging and resolving tickets or escalating to their managed service provider where needed.
• Act as the internal point of contact between them and their managed service provider, tracking tickets through to resolution.
• Support system administration tasks – user accounts, permissions, device management, patching, and basic server / cloud administration.
• Assist with technical implementation projects, such as new systems, rollouts, and migrations.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and support procedures.
• Support cyber security hygiene tasks, building your knowledge and confidence in this area over time.
