Job summary

BMT is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our IT team in the Bath (UK) area, with flexible/hybrid working options and occasional travel to customer sites. This permanent role focuses on delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining secure, reliable IT services.

You will handle incidents and service requests within an ITIL-aligned environment, support Microsoft-based environments, and contribute to knowledge sharing while upholding UKMOD security expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support for Microsoft-based environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL-aligned incident and change management.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests with timely resolutions.
• Support incident, problem and change management processes.
