Job summary

Bodycote plc in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Service Support Analyst to join the IT Service Delivery team. You will be the primary contact for incidents and requests, triaging, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and application issues, typically in a remote-first hybrid setup.

The role focuses on customer experience across regional locations, building solid relationships with users and partners, ensuring incidents meet SLAs, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths or equivalent IT experience.
• Microsoft, CompTIA (A+, Network+), or other relevant technical certifications.
• Qualifications or training in endpoint management, device provisioning, or modern workplace technologies (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft 365)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer facing role supporting a Windows based environment
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Degree, Diploma, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Additional European language skill is welcome
• Basic PowerShell scripts/automation

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for IT incidents and service requests.
• Triage, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network issues.
• Provide remote 1st- and 2nd-line support with strong customer focus.
• Maintain SLAs, communicate progress to users.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external partners.
• Assist with deployments and IT security best practices.
