Salesforce Developer – London
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce Delivery team in London, focusing on clients in the Public Sector Domain. You will build on and extend the capabilities of the Salesforce platform, using Flows, OmniScript, Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC). While you will report to project leads, you can expect client and stakeholder interaction. Full UK Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to attain it is required.
Responsibilities
- Salesforce Industry Cloud development and deployment using the Public Sector Solutions cloud.
- Design and implement Salesforce Flows (screen flows, triggered flows, API flows) to a high standard.
- Implement Public Sector Solutions features and tools, including OmniScript, FlexCards, Action Plans and Document Generation tooling.
- Develop custom Apex classes and LWC components where required.
- Drive the use of tools to improve productivity and implement best practices.
- Consolidate, convey, and apply functional, technical and methodological knowledge across projects.
- Ensure solution alignment with market trends and incorporate best practices to maintain sustainability.
- Support delivery of balanced solutions (demand/viability).
- Build, test and document structural elements of the solution.
- Resolve complex problems related to your area of expertise.
- Serve as an expert point‑of‑contact with the client’s equivalent areas.
- Define work standards or methodologies adapted to the solution.
- Maintain Git version control of the CI/CD deployment pipeline.
- Use Jira, Confluence or equivalent for workflow, documentation and online collaboration.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of Salesforce Industry development experience (preferred).
- Public Sector Solutions experience (preferred) and Omnistudio expertise.
- Day‑to‑day development/configuration in Salesforce Industries Cloud.
- Experience with Data Mappers (fka Data Raptors), Omni Processes (fka Integration Procedures), OmniScripts.
- Strong skills in Apex (triggers, batch, web services).
- Integration experience beneficial (MuleSoft, APIGEE, Connected Apps).
- Experience with JavaScript/Lightning components and Lightning Web Components.
- Basic understanding of Apex sharing and security model.
- Skill in analysing and solving problems, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication, time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.
- Automated testing experience (e.g. Provar, Selenium) is desirable.
- Ability to understand, review and enhance large, complex systems.
- Experience working as part of an Agile team and supporting others.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
- Salesforce Accredited Professional: Public Sector Solutions.
Security Clearance
Full UK Security Clearance (SC) is required. Candidates must confirm they currently hold or are willing to obtain the necessary clearance.
