Job summary

Unite Group is seeking an Area Sales Executive to lift sales capability across our student accommodation portfolio in Newcastle. You’ll work with city teams to turn insight into practical action, improving follow-up, viewings, objections handling and conversion while maintaining CRM discipline and a strong, student-focused customer experience.

You will balance commercial aims with supportive coaching, enabling teams to perform consistently during peak periods and across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales coaching or performance support in a customer-focused environment.
• Track record of helping others improve, not just delivering personal results.
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to turn data and observations into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Coaches teams to improve follow-up, viewings, objection handling and conversion across multiple properties.
• Supports CRM discipline, pipeline hygiene and timely follow-up.
• Identifies gaps via performance data and creates practical actions to raise sales results across properties.
• Runs open days, student fairs and events to generate leads and engagement.
• Provides side-by-side coaching and role plays to embed best practices.
• Steers recurring renewal and rebooking activity to boost retention and customer experience.
