Job summary

Millgate Ltd is seeking a Sales Operations Team Leader to drive day-to-day leadership, performance, and development of the Sales Operations function. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of all sales activities to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.

You will bridge Sales, Finance, Logistics and Service Delivery, align processes, and lead continuous improvements, including ERP/CRM data integrity and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Sales Operations team, setting clear performance expectations.
• Oversee order processing activities (EDI, supplier portals, purchase orders, credit card transactions) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage sales order lifecycle from quote acceptance through to delivery and invoicing.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication of ETAs, back orders, and delivery updates to the Sales team.
• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs (order accuracy, processing time, backlog levels, etc.).
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Ensure all processes are documented, standardised, and compliant with internal controls and ISO 9001
