Alcedo Selection Limited is recruiting a Sales Manager to drive a high-performing sales team in Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Based in South Leeds, you will lead internal account managers, deliver growth, and maximise gross profit through strategic activity and market insight.

You will mentor staff, manage customer relationships, and collaborate with inventory and credit teams to optimize quotes, pricing and terms. A hands-on leader with a track record of hitting targets will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales/ account management team.
• Proven ability to hit annual gross profit targets.
• Ability to produce BI reports and KPI dashboards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of credit control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and mentor a team of Internal Account Managers to meet sales KPI's.
• Ensure annual gross profit targets are forecasted and achieved.
• Produce business intelligence reports on contacts, materials, pricing and activity.
• Use system software to quote, follow up and manage customer contacts.
• Develop relationships with customers to secure repeat orders.
• Understand properties and applications of stocked products.
• Expand customer base and market share by opening new accounts.
• Identify new products to add to the portfolio.
• Monitor competitor activity and report market changes.
• Work within credit control procedures with GM and Credit Manager.
