Job summary

Validio AB is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our pre-sales team in the UK. You will translate data challenges into value, run live demos, and partner with Account Executives from first conversation to signed deals.

You’ll work with data leaders, own proof-of-value engagements, and build reusable assets to scale our sales motion—bringing technical depth and strategic business impact to clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales / sales engineering experience in data/analytics.
• Fluency with the modern data stack and strong SQL.
• Ability to connect technical capability to business value for engineers and executives.
• Ownership instinct and proactive deal progression.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy and qualify where Validio wins.
• Run technical discovery with business data and engineering teams; map challenges to our platform.
• Own proof-of-value engagements from success criteria to data proving value.
• Deliver tailored demos and convert evaluators into internal champions.
• Be the trusted technical voice for prospects and feed insights back to Product/Engineering.
• Build demos, playbooks, and reusable assets to scale how we sell.
