Job summary

Validio is the data management platform that enables trusted data for analytics, AI, and reporting. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll partner with Account Executives from first conversation to signed deal, translating data problems into a clear value path.

You’ll run technical discovery with data and engineering teams, deliver tailored demos, and own proof-of-value engagements end to end, becoming the trusted technical voice for prospects and feeding insights back to Product and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in pre-sales, solutions or sales engineering, ideally in data/analytics or developer-focused software.
• Fluency with the modern data stack and strong SQL.
• Ability to connect technical capability to business value for both engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AEs on deal strategy and qualify where Validio wins.
• Run technical discovery with business data and engineering teams, mapping challenges to our platform.
• Own proof-of-value engagements end to end from success criteria to data speaking for itself.
• Deliver tailored demos and turn technical evaluators into internal champions.
• Be the trusted technical voice for prospects and relay feedback to Product/Engineering.
• Build demos, playbooks, and reusable assets to scale the sales motion.
