Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our European Sales Engineering team. You will own technical opportunities end-to-end, from discovery through close, and translate complex requirements into ROI and value for executive stakeholders.

In this role you’ll lead workshops, run POCs, configure the platform to real client environments, and collaborate with Account Executives to drive revenue while shaping our AI-native offerings and go-to-market approach.

Qualifications

Led business process transformation or procurement optimization projects, ideally with procurement or AP expertise gained from working buyer-side.
Systems fluency to locate data in SAP/Ariba or elsewhere and understand cross-workflow integrations; familiarity with AI gateways, model routing, or data governance is a plus.
Direct quota-carrying or deal-closing ownership of pre-sale cycle, with ability to close complex B2B deals and revenue accountability.

Responsibilities

Carry quota tied to technical opportunity progression, owning inputs (POC results, integration effort, system fit) for ROI/TCO business case.
Lead technical workshops and proofs of concept with clear success criteria, collaborating with AE to navigate objections and close.
Configure the platform against a client’s real data and workflows ahead of every demo, covering routing, APIs, integrations, data governance, and security.
