We're looking for highly motivated sales professionals to become Sales Development Representatives within our Sales Acceleration teams, offering various crucial roles.

Sales Development Representative - German speaking
Responsibilities
  • Identifying good fit merchants and crafting compelling messaging via email and phone to build interest in a conversation.
  • Learning the intricacies of eCommerce in EMEA – who the major players are and how we can help them.
  • Creating a positive and valuable first impression to merchants by providing an unrivaled experience.
  • Maintaining active engagement with new and existing leads through our CRM, Salesforce.
  • Triaging and connecting inquiries to the appropriate members of the Shopify Sales Reps by conducting high‑level qualifying conversations with prospective merchants.
  • Contributing to building culture and upholding Shopify values in our growing EMEA region.
  • Liaising with peers across the world in markets such as North America and APAC to refine processes and consistently evolve the scope of the role.
  • Working with your lead to up‑skill in areas of professional and personal development, including special projects to assist and impact the Sales Delivery team in EMEA.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in English is required for all roles; additionally, a native or bilingual level of proficiency in German, French, Dutch, or Italian.
  • Experience and knowledge of the EMEA market.
  • Experience in an outbound sales/business development role.
