Job summary

Matter B2B is recruiting for a Business Development Executive in Leeds. The role is hybrid after probation, offering a base salary of £25,000–£30,000 with uncapped commission and training to progress in a growing SaaS-focused environment.

You will generate new business opportunities, engage senior decision-makers, and use our Sales 4.0 approach across multiple channels to book meetings and grow your client base.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s experience in sales, business development or lead generation.
• Confident communicator who enjoys speaking to new people.
• Resilient, coachable and eager to improve.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Organised, self‑motivated and able to manage your own workload.
• Comfortable using technology and keen to learn new ways of selling.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business opportunities for our clients through outbound prospecting.
• Building relationships with senior decision-makers across a variety of industries.
• Using our Sales 4.0 methodology across phone, LinkedIn, email, video and voice messaging.
• Booking qualified meetings for our clients’ sales teams.
• Managing your pipeline and keeping CRM records up to date.
• Working closely with your manager to continuously improve your performance.
• Hitting activity and quality targets while delivering an excellent customer experience.
