You will be working with a leading house builder on a new build development, selling houses, arranging viewings to the show homes, managing the sale through to completion and helping new homeowners settle into their new homes. This role is working Thursday to Monday 11am - 6pm.

Responsibilities for a Sales Consultant

  • Set an example of professionalism, friendliness, good attitude and manner at all times, to build and maintain a trust and rapport with colleagues and customers
  • Provide a high level of customer service and communication to exceed customer expectations
  • Be aware and keep up to date with relative current legislation / policies to offer advice and reassurance to customers during a sale
  • Work together with other members of the sales team to complete office administrative duties including taking calls, responding to email, booking appointments, and preparing sales literature for customers
  • Conduct viewings of the show apartments and development
  • Negotiating the sale of houses
  • Be responsible for proactively following up all sales leads to convert them into reservation, and then onto legal completion
  • Be familiar with the management and care provider of the development to enable confident and trustworthy communication to customers
  • Perform your duties as a sales consultant in accordance with the Consumer Code for Homebuilders
  • Display a high level of organisational skills to keep track of and coordinate key sales and completion dates
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues in other areas of the company
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with on-site management and contractors to ensure apartments are ready for occupation on time
  • Be responsible for the general cleanliness and tidiness of the sales areas including marketing suite and show houses
  • Report weekly sales activity to the Sales Manager

Requirements for a Sales Consultant

  • Minimum 2-3 years' in a customer facing role
  • Sales experience within the property industry, knowledge of the housing industry and knowledge of the buying and selling process are preferred but not essential
  • Empathy for our customer base and their influencers
  • A willingness to be proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
