Plumb Centre in Redruth (TR15 3RR) is seeking a Sales Advisor to assist customers at the trade counter, recommend products, and handle inquiries by phone and email. You will develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers to grow branch sales.

The role includes warehouse duties, occasional heavy lifting, and delivering to customers using a 3.5T van. A full UK driving licence is required. Working hours are 40 per week, Mon–Fri with Saturday mornings on a rota.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers.
• Warehouse experience is beneficial.

As a Sales Advisor based in Redruth (TR15 3RR), you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
• Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
• Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
• Completing general warehouse duties, including picking, and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard
• Driving 3.5T van making deliveries to customers in the local area

This is a Full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00AM - 5:00PM and every other Saturday morning 08.00AM - 12.00PM.
