Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, trading as Plumb Centre, is seeking a Sales Advisor in Redruth. You will assist customers at the trade counter, recommend products, and handle inquiries with a proactive, high-service approach.

The role includes local delivery duties and some warehouse tasks, supported by extensive training and benefits. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and every other Saturday morning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers.
• Warehouse experience is desirable and helpful for daily tasks.
• Full Driving Licence is required for local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the trade counter with product recommendations.
• Handling enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Building relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers to grow sales.
• Supporting branch operations including loading/unloading and merchandising displays.
• Delivering to local customers using a 3.5T van.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
• Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
• Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
• Completing general warehouse duties, including picking, and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard
• Driving 3.5T van making deliveries to customers in the local area

Employment Details

This is a Full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00AM - 5:00PM and every other Saturday morning 08.00AM - 12.00PM.
