Job summary

Plumb Centre in Brighton is seeking a Sales Assistant to support trade customers at the branch, answering inquiries, recommending products, and contributing to branch sales growth. The role includes light warehouse duties and occasional van deliveries to sites or residences.

The ideal candidate has front-facing sales experience, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn the plumbing trade. Full UK driving licence is advantageous while working hours are Monday to Friday with possible

Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales, especially those with reduced or inactive spending.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking and packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries involving heavy items.
• Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to customers including building sites, businesses and private residences.
• Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch.
