Job summary

Plumb Centre in Belfast is seeking a Sales Assistant to help customers at the trade counter and support branch operations. You will identify customer needs, offer product recommendations and process enquiries by phone or email. The role is full-time with potential for bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant based in Belfast, youll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by identifying their requirements and providing product recommendations.

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business

• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers

• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00. Overtime may be required.
