The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be working on behalf of a highly respected private client in the Cotswolds to appoint an exceptional Sales & Event Planner.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with luxury hospitality experience who takes genuine pride in delivering outstanding service. You'll join a warm, professional events team where attention to detail and creating unforgettable experiences sit at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

Working as part of a dedicated events team, you will support couples from their initial enquiry right through to their special day. Your ability to plan, communicate and organise multiple moving parts will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the full planning process, from viewings and planning meetings to tastings, table plans, function sheets and final invoicing
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, guests and suppliers both on-site and via email/phone
  • Hosting show rounds and meetings, and assisting with event delivery where required
  • Ensuring the venue is beautifully presented at all times
  • Overseeing onsite guest bedroom allocations, arrivals and departures
  • Responding promptly to planning queries and maintaining excellent communication
  • Following event, office and administrative procedures
  • Supporting follow-ups on enquiries, deposits, T&Cs and provisional bookings
  • Attending training sessions and meetings (including those off-site)
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and emergency procedures
About You
  • At least 1 year's experience in a wedding venue in a sales or planning capacity
