Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers, helping them choose optical and hearing products in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will greet customers warmly, provide expert advice on frames and hearing care, and process sales using in-branch systems while collaborating with optometrists and audiologists to ensure a smooth customer journey. Training is provided and there are clear progression paths within the company.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude with strong communication skills.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Able to work well in a team or independently.
• Basic IT skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products.
• Provide clear, helpful advice on frame styles, lenses, and hearing care.
• Process sales and bookings using in-branch systems.
• Support stock management and merchandising.
• Keep the store clean, welcoming, and well presented.
• Collaborate with Optometrists, Hearing Aid Audiologists and branch team to ensure a seamless journey.
