Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor to be the first friendly contact for customers, helping them feel welcome, understood and supported as they choose optical and hearing products. You’ll guide customers to the right glasses or hearing care solutions with expert, courteous service.

This full-time role includes Sunday working. You will collaborate with the store team to ensure a seamless customer journey, process sales and bookings, support stock and merchandising, and

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Basic IT skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products.
• Provide clear, helpful advice on frame styles, lenses, and hearing care.
• Process sales and bookings using in-branch systems.
• Support stock management and merchandising.
• Keep the store clean, welcoming, and well presented.
• Work closely with Optometrists, Hearing Aid Audiologists and the wider branch team to ensure a seamless customer journey.
