Wolseley Group’s Plumb Centre in Wallsend is seeking a Sales Assistant to support customers at the trade counter and manage enquiries by phone and email. You’ll also perform light warehouse tasks and keep displays looking top-notch, contributing to a high-quality customer experience.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a starting salary of £26,695 plus bonus and strong benefits. Plumbing knowledge is a plus, and a collaborative, customer-first mindset is essential.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Wallsend branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse
• Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.

This is a full time, permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm.
