Job summary

Saltrock Whitstable is seeking a friendly Sales Advisor for a 4-hour temporary contract to join our coastal lifestyle team. You will assist customers, process sales, and help keep the store inviting and well-presented.

Experience in retail is helpful but not essential. You will engage with customers, support merchandising, and contribute to a positive in-store experience, while enjoying staff discounts and a uniform allowance.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with customers and relay product benefits.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand.
• Ensure customers have a positive, welcoming store experience.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within set timescales.
• Keep products tidy and well presented, replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries as required.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energeticteam, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers deliveringan excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve salestargets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand whileprocessing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positiveexperience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standardthe outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed ourcustomers with information about our product including features and benefitsand stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidyand presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction withour guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with ourculture
• A passion for selling and interacting withcustomers
• Recognition of the importance ofstrong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/cardhandling
• Experience in Retail would bedesirable but not essential
