Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor for a 4-hour contract in Castleford to join our retail team. You will engage customers, work on the shop floor, and help drive sales while maintaining brand standards and an inviting store environment.

You will handle till transactions, support merchandising, and participate in deliveries and stock replenishment. Prior retail experience is welcome but not essential, making this a great entry path for friendly, customer-focused individuals.

Qualifications

• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising.
• Competent at till operations and cash handling.
• Retail experience would be desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store.
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability.
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales.
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

Role
