Job summary

Saltrock Surfwear Ltd. is hiring a Sales Advisor for a 4-hour contract to join our retail team by the coast. You’ll work with an energetic team, delivering a great customer experience while driving sales and maintaining the store’s look and feel.

You’ll feed customers with product information, help with stock checks, and ensure tills are handled accurately. Previous retail experience is nice to have but not essential.

Qualifications

• In-store sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to manage till operations and cash handling with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales transactions with care.
• Provide product information, features and stock availability.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and high housekeeping standards.
• Support markdowns/price changes within set timescales.
• Keep product tidy, replenished, and presentable.
• Assist with merchandising using brand guidelines.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energeticteam, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers deliveringan excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve salestargets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand whileprocessing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positiveexperience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standardthe outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed ourcustomers with information about our product including features and benefitsand stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidyand presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction withour guidelines

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with ourculture
• A passion for selling and interacting withcustomers
• Recognition of the importance ofstrong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/cardhandling
• Experience in Retail would bedesirable but not essential
