Job summary

Saltrock Gloucester Quays is seeking a Sales Advisor on an 8 hour contract to join our Retail team. You’ll work with an energetic team, delivering an excellent in-store experience and helping customers with enthusiasm and product knowledge.

You’ll process sales, assist with merchandising and stock deliveries, maintain store standards, and enjoy a staff discount and pro-rata holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly manner that fits Saltrock culture.
• Passion for selling and engaging with customers.
• Strong visual merchandising awareness.
• Competent till and cash/card handling.
• Retail experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for product and brand while processing transactions.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience within our store, making it inviting and welcoming.
• Keep housekeeping to a high standard for a healthy and safe store.
• Inform customers about product features, benefits and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns/price alterations within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey
