Wolseley Group’s Plumb Centre in Stoke is recruiting a Sales Assistant to support trade customers at the counter, answer enquiries by phone and email, and help with stock movements.

You will work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and one Saturday per month, with overtime on Saturday mornings. The role requires a proactive team player with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

Responsabilités

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their needs and recommending products.
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking/packing orders and stock handling.
• Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.
• Relief driving 3.5t van for deliveries when the driver is on holiday.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Stoke branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer ordersand unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse
• Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.
• Relief driving 3.5t van for deliveries when the driver is on holiday

This is a full time, permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm and one Saturday per month, 08.00am - 12.00pm (paid as overtime) once trained.
