Job summary

Saltrock is looking for a Sales Advisor to join our Retail team on a 4‑hour contract in Brixham. You’ll help customers, process sales, keep the store inviting, and support daily housekeeping to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

You’ll work with a friendly team, demonstrate product passion, assist with merchandising and stock, and help process deliveries and markdowns as needed. Part‑time hours include holiday pro‑rata and staff discount.

Qualifications

• Friendly, proactive customer-focused approach.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong product knowledge and communication.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by selling with passion and processing transactions.
• Ensure customers have a positive in-store experience in a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain high store housekeeping for a healthy, safe environment.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within set timescales.
• Keep products tidy, presentable and replenished as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energeticteam, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers deliveringan excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve salestargets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand whileprocessing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positiveexperience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standardthe outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed ourcustomers with information about our product including features and benefitsand stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidyand presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction withour guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A passion for selling and interacting withcustomers
• Recognition of the importance ofstrong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/cardhandling
• Experience in Retail would bedesirable but not essential
