Job summary

DCS Engineering is recruiting a Sales Administration Team Leader in Yateley to lead a dedicated team, ensure accurate order processing, and align sales activity with engineering and production schedules.

You will coordinate global shipments, manage ERP/CRM usage, develop the team, and uphold quality and customer service standards in a manufacturing environment. The role demands proactive problem solving and effective cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales order processing within engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team with ability to develop members.
• Experience with worldwide exporting and international shipments.
• Strong customer service skills with external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP/CRM systems.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and make effective decisions.
• Proactive approach across multiple internal departments.
• A-level or equivalent education, ideally with a business-related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Sales Administration team, coordinating workloads and ensuring productivity and customer service.
• Ensure customer sales orders are processed accurately and within procedures/timescales.
• Process purchase orders and customer contracts, match against quotations and enter into ERP.
• Ensure internal approvals are completed before orders are accepted.
• Coordinate with Engineering/Project teams on complex orders.
