Job summary

Venus Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Administration Team Leader to guide a busy order processing function within an engineering and manufacturing environment. The role focuses on end-to-end order processing, customer service excellence and ERP/CRM-backed processes.

You will lead the Sales Order team, coordinate with Engineering and Project teams, manage export documentation, invoicing, and regulatory compliance, and deputise for the Sales Office Manager when required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Engineering or manufacturing sector experience preferred.
• Worldwide export experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales Order team to deliver accurate, responsive order processing.
• Develop and support the Sales Administration team, driving productivity and improvement.
• Process purchase orders and contracts through the ERP system, ensuring export compliance.
• Coordinate complex orders and delivery schedules with Engineering and Project teams.
• Track orders, delivery commitments and milestones, providing proactive customer updates.
• Oversee global shipments, export documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate, timely invoicing and achievement of monthly targets.
• Maintain compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.
• Deputise for the Sales Office Manager when required.

Hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunchbreak.
