Job summary

Bayman Atkinson Smythe Ltd is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a busy team in Greater Manchester. The role combines customer service, sales administration and order coordination with close collaboration across customers, suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer service or sales administration, with CRM experience and strong communication, organisation and attention to detail on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in customer service or sales administration.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail; proactive and capable under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer and supplier enquiries by phone and email.
• Process orders, quotations and sales enquiries.
• Manage customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Build strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Update customers on order progress and liaise with Production.
• Maintain CRM records and documentation.
• Support Production Planning with relevant paperwork.
• Coordinate meetings, visits and appointments; provide admin support.
