Job summary

Bayman Atkinson Smythe Ltd is seeking a Sales Administrator to join the supply chain team in a hybrid role based in Middleton, North Manchester. After training, you’ll work 5 days in 10 at home/in the office with typical hours 8.30am–5.00pm (Fri 8.30am–2.45pm).

You will process orders, coordinate deliveries, and liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate updates and timely actions. A strong candidate will have 5+ years’ relevant experience and solid ERP/Office skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in customer service, sales admin, logistics or shipping.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Solid IT skills including ERP systems, Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask calmly in busy environments.
• Team player with proactive ownership and initiative.
• Good organisational skills and workload prioritisation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and coordinate with planning, warehousing and logistics.
• Monitor orders, inform customers of status, and manage delays.
• Coordinate with warehouse and 3PL for dispatch and documentation.
• Handle enquiries, samples and technical requests with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate master data and pricing in ERP.
• Support continuous improvement and projects from Supply Chain Manager.
