About the role: The Safeguarding Coordinator role will provide efficient and effective coordination and support of Safeguarding meetings for Powys Children’s Safeguarding Team.

This includes management and recording on various recording systems in line with Legislative requirements.

The role will also involve working with a wide variety of external partners.

What you will do: Coordinate and accurately minute complex meetings, including Child Protection Conferences, Professional Strategy Meetings, and Child Exploitation Strategy Meetings.

Serve as the primary point of contact for partner agencies and safeguarding administration, handling a wide range of telephone and written enquiries, register checks, and information system requests.

Undertake associated administrative tasks, including processing incoming and outgoing mail.

Prepare recommendation letters following Child Protection Case Conferences, extracting and summarising key discussion points that form the basis of the Child Protection Plan.

Ensure compliance with performance monitoring, compiling and reporting timely and accurate performance indicator statistics.

Maintain strict confidentiality and data security, ensuring all records comply with GDPR requirements.

Travel to multiple Powys locations as required.
