A local council in the United Kingdom is seeking a Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Administrator. The role involves processing referrals and enquiries related to abuse and neglect, along with administrating Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Candidates should have extensive admin experience, the ability to work under pressure, and ideally some knowledge of the care sector. This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Bedford.
The Safeguarding Team and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (Dols) Team at Bedford Borough Council take referrals from individuals, families and professionals about people who may be experiencing abuse and neglect and also process applications for Deprivation of liberty Safeguards.
As the first point of contact for enquiries, the administrators have a crucial role in taking information, dealing with enquiries and recording referrals on a case management database.
