A local education authority in the United Kingdom is seeking an Early Years Assistant (Level 2) for a full-time role at Ryhope Infant School. The position requires a DfE validated Early Years qualification and experience in an Early Years setting. The successful applicant will be passionate about supporting young children and their learning. This is a fixed-term contract until 31st July 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent if the need arises. The school offers a supportive and professional environment.
Role: Early Years Assistant – Level 2 (Minimum)
Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31st July 2026 (initially with potential of permanent if numbers continue to increase)
Working Pattern: Full Time (37 hours per week) and Term Time Only including 2 Inset Days
Salary: NJC £24,796 per annum (Pro-rata)
