Additionally, we're home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre, and our dedicated paediatric hospital at St Helier provides a valuable opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and encounter an extensive array of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Work across a number of different rotations, including critical care, paediatrics, surgery, and a variety of medical specialties.
  • Perform ward-based tasks, chart reviews, clinical interventions, and work closely with the medical team to optimise medication regimens.
  • Provide patient education on medications, screening discharge prescriptions and support junior or trainee pharmacists.
  • Lead in conducting audits and driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in 6-monthly rotations to develop comprehensive pharmaceutical service expertise.
  • Develop managerial skills and expertise by working towards agreed objectives.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern

This position is full-time with a requirement for 37.5 hours of work per week, including participation in seven-day working and on-call rotas. However, we are open to applications from individuals seeking part‑time, job‑share, or flexible working arrangements.

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.
